This tiffin box is made of steel with plastic outer box and food grade plastic cap. It is leak proof and light weigh. You can store vegetable curry or soup in this. As it is not a hotpot, it doesn't retains heat for long. Overall value for money product. Only downside is that oil from plastic cap is bit tough to clean as it has crevices in which oil gets stuck. The solution is to soak it in dishwash water for 10 min than clean.

The boxes are super classic & elegant with the bright blue color as I have purchased. At times we need To give more pressure to close it up complete ly or else leakage Would cause to dirty up the small pouch for the tiffins kept in. Apart from that totally satisfied with the item within this price rangeAt times there would be bit leakage with semi solid side dishes we have but would be inside The bag itself.
