Most of the time the cap wouldnt close well or sits at angle, you have to be conscious and check every time. Also you need few attempts every time to close the cap properly. After 2 weeks of usage the gasket is coming off its slot, and contributing to issue of lid closure. Hot coffee stays hot for about 6 - 8 hrs only. Once you start consuming, it starts to lose heat. Only full flask will maintain heat longer, which is not practical. My return window expired few days ago, else would have returned.

Good product from Milton. As the description says it keeps hot liquid hot for a long time (at least lasted 6 hours I tested on a few of my trips.) Just make sure to pre-condition the bottle before filling in the actual hot-liquid (that is, boil about 100ml or half cup water and fill the bottle first. Leave it for about 5 mins. Then the discard that water and immediately fill the liquid of your choice (coffee, tea, milk etc). Close the lid. I follow this method, and definitely keeps it hot for longer duration.Only one con I noticed is, the lid of the bottle is not smooth to close. It feels like the washer inside the lid makes it hard to close it properly. It does not affect the functionality and also does not leak. But it's an annoyance when it takes a couple of extra rotation to close it properly. (I also have a 500ml milton bottle and its lid closes silky-smooth!). Overall, good product. value for money.

The design of this bottle is gorgeous. It is sleek and outer steel finish looks sturdy and elegant. Hot water remains hot for around 8-10 hours and warm for more than 15 hours. I don't think this would be suitable for frequent travellers due to the height of this bottle. Overall, a great product by Milton.

Bought for travel purposes. Water was hot for almost 20+hrs. Could easy make cup noodles at noon for kids with boiling water filled in morning. If wan to carry hot water for kids/ elders long journey this is the one to buy. Only wish had a handle or strap to carry easy

Retains the cold/ hot effectively for at least 8 hours. I have not tried it for longer. The bottle is long and slender. Not meant for the side mesh pocket of school backpacks. Needs an extra long bottle brush for cleaning, a regular size bottle brush does not reach the bottom with enough room to hold the handle.
