I have been using this appam patra for a year now Pros The quality of aluminium vessel is good. it is not heavy but by adjusting the flame you can get crispy or soft appams. non stick coating quality is also good I am happy i went for 12 cavities patra as a 7 or 9 cavities would have meant cooking appams in two shifts. Cons Heat distribution is not even. The appams in the centre get done much earlier than the border ones. I badly missed a handle in this patra as i like to rotate it for even cooking. without a handle it is tedious. Another thing which is required is a lid.A transparent lid would be excellent to allow you to see when the appams are ready to be flipped. The mrp for this quality is high , i got this on discount.
