The guards and helmet provided are good. Helmet size is good for 8 year boy, it somehow fits to my 6 year boy with some adjustments. Now main part sckates, they are not for beginners, they have just one bolt, not two, thus you cannot lock the wheels. Now one of the bolt is just going to fall, unable to tie it as the connecting nut is small in size, have to be with it and make sure it is not going to comeout when the child is using it. See the first image. Bag is really good, strong enough to hold all the items.
