I am first time buter of this product. Its a good moisturising, long lasting lip balm with thick consistency. The only thing I dislike about it is the overwhelming scent which actually feels like you are in a red velvet cake shop. The flavour is also the same which is sometimes irritating.

I've seen people going crazy over this lip balm. So I had to try it. I've been using this Candy Melts lip balm for over a month and here are a few of my conclusions. It smells like red velvet cake as mentioned but what I DID NOT LIKE about this is that it even tastes sweet. At first, it was kind of cool having a sweet taste but soon it got overwhelming.PROS:1. Vegan, cruelty-free2. Has a cute reddish tint to it3. Thick consistency suitable for wintersCONS:1. The constant sweet taste becomes irritating after a while.2. A bit sticky and feels heavy on the lips3. Not suitable for summersFun Tip: If you have already bought this lip balm and don't like its texture, you can mix it with a bit of Vaseline or Boroline. It gives a faint tint and does not feel sticky or heavy on the lips this way.
