It have a perfume smell in it and the texture of the cream is soft it absorbs in skin smoothly just aply simply but don't rub the cream to much on skin as it will start giving white patches. not sure about sun protection thing as I hadn't stepped out of my house in sun yet but will recommend for gentle skins
