Being blessed with dry and slightly sensitive skin I was quite keen to try this sensitive skin cream and it’s been a pleasant surprise. The cream is quite rich and dense, almost like a sunscreen (although I don’t think it actually contains one) and you don’t need a lot of it to treat your whole face - so beware the bottle’s nozzle which is a bit over-generous in the amount it dispenses. It works into the skin quickly and, providing you don’t use too much, it dries to a matte finish. There is a slight fragrance which, typical of most of L’Oreal’s mens’ products smells like stale after-shave, but it’s not too over-powering although I wonder why a sensitive skin product needs it at all?I’ve tried a few of the L’Oreal men’s skincare items recently and this is the one I find most moisturising on my skin, it actually seems to make a difference where some of the others don’t help much at all. It doesn’t make all my wrinkles and crinkles disappear but you do feel like you’re skin has a bit of protection and support. For an everyday moisturiser it’s pretty good and certainly affordable, you’re not going to see any major changes to your skin but it does help keep a sensitive skin calm and under control.

Whilst it’s not a major problem for me there are some areas of my face which have sensitive skin. Certain potions just seem to make it worse and then it can be difficult to soothe so obviously it is best to avoid causing the irritation in the first place. To be fair the whole Men Expert range is pretty good so hasn’t caused an issue when using them but this particular product is specifically designed for those with sensitive skin. Actually, it’s a combination product and is suitable for both general face care and after shaving.The cream itself is quite light in texture but still quite rich, and despite being made for sensitive skin it has a very pleasant but not overpowering scent. I find that it absorbs quite well and although initially it feels a little bit greasy that soon clears and within minutes my skin just feels soft and moisturised. I like the fact that my skin isn’t shiny after using it, and that it stays moisturised all day or night. I haven’t had any irritation from using this product and in fact find it very soothing especially in areas that I have shaved. I had a 75ml tube which dispenses easily and lasts quite a while so think that it also offers good value.

An excellent moisturiser for those who suffer from razor burn after shaving. I put this on shorty after a shave and never had any stinging or flaming up of existing razor burn. Easy to apply, soaks in fairly quickly and has no strong fragrance to compete with any after shave you may wish to use later

There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of products like this available so it really is a case of trying a few and finding what works for you.This is a very good post shave cream that is aimed at those of us with sensitive skin. I found it easy to apply and quick to absorb. It's not too runny nor too thick. It doesn't leave any form of sticky residue and does have an instantly cooling effect which I found pleasant.It's also great value too and is a product you can easily use as part of your eveydat routine/regime.

My husband has been using this for around 2 weeks now, and feels that there is not much difference in quality or effect between this and the Wrinkly De-Crease cream, also by L'Oreal. He feels that this is a light, pleasant smelling and long-lasting cream which doesn't dry out his skin and keeps it hydrated throughout the day. He works in an air-conditioned office which can often be hot and stuffy. He also plays a lot of sport so he would apply this frequently after showering.He would definitely recommend this and wants to continue using it.

As you'd expect, this is a tube of white cream. It absorbs quickly when applied and has a light citrus aroma which is pleasant enough. Skin feels good after an application and it helps soothe skin after a rough wet shave so it seems to be doing something good.

For post shaves, it is surprising that many chaps don't bother with a moisturiser. Considering one has used a razor blade against the skin, minimising razor burn is critical in protecting the skin. I've used products like Shave Doctor that are very effective. This L'Oréal cream is designed for sensitive skin. It is watery meaning that only a thin layer of cream is absorbed into the skin. It cooled the skin down but not in the manner that Shave Doctor does. Don't get me wrong - it's a good product but it isn't for me having been spoiled by other competing products.

There are so many products like this, even from L'Oreal themselves that you cannot choose on spec you have to try them. I have found them all to be great, I use them in the evenings but also after shaving, I much prefer balms and avoid aftershave. I have sensitive skin and work in environments where there may be solvents. L'Oreal are not the most expensive but for me they are about the most solid and reliable seeming for my personal taste and skin needs. The dispenser is fairly slim in size so easy to keep spares in a bag or in a drawer. They all have a similar smell which is a very neutral scent that does not linger. They are all basically moisturisers for men and the packaging walks the right fine line of taste, health, luxury. A little goes a long way, I had no adverse reactions. Personally I had no reactions to the standard version of this so I did not really notice any difference between the 2. Certainly if you are Ok with the standard version, the sensitive version might be even more soothing.

I have quite sensitive skin which comes up with a red rash easily, and have been looking for a moisturiser for some time, so jumped at the opportunity to try this.The L'Oréal All in 1 comes in a small bottle which is presented well in its box (although mine got a little squished during shipping, so keep this in mind if you are ordering as a gift). It says it is for daily use, every morning after shaving and again in the evening. It is not greasy and is absorbed into the skin well, with a generous pea size being enough to give coverage to your chin, neck and face.So far I have had not reaction and have noticed that my skin does feel softer after a few days of use. I still get the razor burn, but it is less prominent with this. Good value for money given how much you need per application. Recommended.
