One of my favourite sayings but obviously an alien thought to the thrusting young marketing whiz kids employed by L'Oreal. The packaging and dispenser in it's previous life was absolutely fine but "No" Hydra Energy deserved, nay, begged for a facelift. And so after many hours at the drawing board it reappeared with a "locking" feature on the dispenser. Making it more expensive to produce but prompting me to look at the product as a whole. If you take into account marketing, advertising, production, packaging and distribution costs I would hazard a guess that you would be very lucky to be left with £1.00 's worth of product which doesn't seem a great return if you were unfortunate enough to pay the RRP of £9.00 to £10.00. Hey - it's a good enough balm but I'll be having a hard look at what it's competitors are offering.
