I liked all the Biotique products that I had used before this. Especially their Bio Basil soap and Orange Peel soap are the best soaps by far that I have used (and I have tried a lot of soaps both in the US and in India, including French luxury soaps, artisan soaps, handmade soaps, etc.). However, this particular white 'Biotique Morning Nectar Moisturizing Cream Bathing Bar, 150g' was a huge disappointment. I could not believe Biotique made this. It's very drying to the skin—exactly the opposite of what it claims—and the scent is very unpleasant—in fact, it is one of the most unpleasant scents in a soap that I have ever used. It smells like rancid oil to me. This is in huge contrast to Biotique's other soaps that I have tried. The orange peel soap leaves my skin feeling deeply cleaned and healthy without drying. The Bio Basil soap is probably one of the best soaps in the world; it leaves the skin feeling clean, fresh, supple, and cool with no drying at all, and with its regular usage, the condition of the skin improves noticeably. It is very strange to me that Biotique created such a disappointing soap given the company's expertise in combining traditional ayurveda and cutting-edge skin science to create outstandingly engineered grooming and skin care products.
