This is great for dry skin, it keeps my skin hydrated for 24 hours. I have tried so many lotions and creams before but none really kept my skin hydrated for 24 hours, they start to wear off in few hours. This just works and the scent is so amazing! I have been using it for a week, so can’t say about healing scars yet, but the texture of my skin do look better.

For someone prone to extremely dry skin the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula works like a dream. Keeps your skin feeling soft and supple all through the day. For some time after applying it the skin acquires a sheen and feels slightly oily and sticky. (Could be because I tend to use generous portions of it). However after an hour or so the cream blends into the skin and starts to work it's magic. It doesn't feel oily any longer. The slightly strong cocoa butter scent which lingers for some time is not unpleasant. It too usually is less obvious after a while.
