Advantages

I switched to cloth pads long back but sometimes during monsoons or rainy days I use a cotton pad. While I am happy that the pad is 100% sustainable, it hardly lasts a few hours with the cotton inside shredding within sometime. It could be so because the stuffing is organic cotton and I have experienced similar issues with other OC pads too. Best is to go for silicon cups or cloth pads for minimum waste.

I wanted to switch to biodegradable sanitary pads because they are more eco friendly and I think the earth is worth the change. But I wasn't sure which ones to go for. So I ordered these from pee safe and one from carmesi, they fall in the same price range too. I tried both and I love the pee safe ones. They are soft, comfortable, fragrance free. I haven't had one rash or itch or any uncomfortable feeling. I have a medium flow and I use overnight ones. If you have a heavier flow you might have to change frequently but I love them. Plus they have all the legitimate eco friendly logos and not just marketing terms along with their packaging made from recycled material which personally is a plus for me. <3

Yes! It's just environmental friendly , very very soft n.comfortable.But just doesn't serve the purpose of a sanitary pad. Can't use it for more than an he during high flow, how ever careful u be, it leaks by the wings ( as it's just a strip of paper) n the pabties get drenched in blood. Just like a few layers of compressed paper or cotton ... Sometimes sticks off to ur skin n tears off so easily. Absorbency is just 5%. Normal flow days u ll have to use 5 to 6 pads. The product is too pricey for it doesn't even serve its purpose. I would never buy this again.

I have used these pads for one entire period and I have medium to heavy flow. The only con would be that you have to change more often with these pads and the side wings need more work as they leak or don't stick properly. The pads are really soft and absorb well, did not cause any rashes. The disposal bags are also very good. Most of all it saves you the guilt of throwing non-biodegradable pads into the world.Cost is reasonable for the quality.
