I recently tried the Bombay Shaving Company razor, and while it had some promising features, I encountered significant issues that affected my overall experience. The razor had a good weight to it, and the product finish seemed satisfactory at first glance. However, I quickly noticed inconsistencies in blade edge alignment and blade gap, which impacted the shaving performance. Hoping it was just a one-off issue, I ordered another one, but unfortunately, I faced similar problems. The screw was tight, and fully screwing the head resulted in zero gap on one side of the blade. Even with adjustments, the blade gap remained uneven, leading to an inconsistent shave. In terms of the shave experience, it was very mild, which may appeal to some users. However, for me, it posed challenges as one side shaved mildly while the other side was aggressive due to the blade edge and gap issues. Despite its affordable price, I wouldn't consider this razor a premium product. Its design heavily resembles the Bevel razor, and it seems more suited for absolute beginners who prefer a mild shave. However, it does require some experience to properly set the blade. Overall, while the Bombay Shaving Company razor has potential, its inconsistencies and design limitations make it a less-than-ideal choice for experienced wet shavers.

It can be used for anything but shaving. The manufacturing is faulty. Do not buy this "razor" even if your life depended on it. No wonder BSC starts with BS.

I was using Gillette Guard as all the other products are ridiculous priced and the product isn’t bad but it didn’t suit well on my under chin region. I stumbled up on this product, my grandfather used to use it earlier it’s a nice product, bit too pricy.
