I had tried Jiva Amla (old packaging) and smell, effects on hair was all good.But this one Jiva black pearl is definitely not an Ayurvedic product. Its smell, texture and lather is like a chemical shampoo. It dried the hair strands and got dandruff too. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I had used jiva’s papaya shampoo and it worked well for me. When I went to order the next bottle, found this one and got carried away by their claim to reduce kapha prakriti.Sadly, it worded my hair so much that I couldn’t even untangle my hair after hair wash. Plus the amount of hair fall it gave me is ridiculous.May work for others but definitely not for me. If you are first timer, never buy a combo pack. You may regret it
