Not happy with this purchase....It feels like an ordinary hair mask which makes the hair soft and shiny for a few hours....But the hair is dry and rough the next day again... Better results can be achieved by amla, reetha and shikakai at 1/100 of the price..... Moreover, it caused a slight hair fall and has aggravated my dandruff.... Will not recommend this product...Way too overpriced.... (p.s- I am using the product for two weeks....Will update again if I see any long time results)

New (08-Oct-2022) :I have an oily scalp so I've been advised not to oil my hair at all. Since last many years my hair became dry and dull. No amount of conditioner or hair serum has helped combat my frizzy hair. Hair serum used 5 mins earlier also couldn't reduce the frizz. My hair was comparable to Monica Geller's hair in the American sitcom "Friends"). Desperate, I used this product after its raving reviews. On first use today, it seems to be working well! I have shinier hair and the frizziness in my hair has reduced, not completely gone though. I'm going to continue using it to see how much better it can get - because good things come to those who wait! And, I love the fragrance and texture of the masque. It's a fresh citrus-like perfumed smell with the rich, non greasy cream which spreads evenly on the hair without too much effort. I bought it out of a feeling of self pampering, so I'll need to see whether I can make it as a part of my routine life considering it's cost. But I still think, this is a better price to play than going to a salon and getting multiple products lathered on your head. Natural ingredients don't work on my hair so this one is so useful for me. Wil try to update whatever happens.

In late 2020, FE started publishing the full list of ingredients. I applaud them for their transparency. In this case, you can see that banana pulp (a key ingredient described on the product page) constitutes 0.5% of 200 gms - so, thats 1 gm of pulp. In total, 40% of the ingredients are oils and plant matter. The rest - 60% - is base QS. I have used this only once this week. It makes the hair softer after washing. But a Bringadi Oil would do that for me. I am looking for something transformative - to reduce hair loss - since the Indian city I live in has extremely poor water quality, and hair falls in literally clumps. When I lived in a city with ancient water systems that drew delicious water from lakes and hilly springs, my nutrition and hair products mattered, but not as much - my hair thrived. Now, it doesnt matter what I eat and what I put in my hair (never used chemicals, never even artificially straightened my hair), tap water destroys. I didnt understand why reviewers seem to suggest that this isnt for the scalp...it seems to me that it can be used for both scalp and hair. I buy FE products on their website - you can accrue points, and get samples / take advantage of offers. So, unless Silkrute offers a great discount, purchasing here doesnt make sense - especially given the concerns around counterfeit products.
