Do not colour your hair if you have a rash on your face or sensitive irritated and damaged scalp you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair. You have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black " tattoo in the past. You must do a skin allergy test without fail 48 hours before each use of this product. Remember to buy this product in advance in order to do the skin allergy test 48 hours before use. The Developer contains . The Colouring Creme contains phenylenediamines resorcinol and ammonia. Avoid contact of the product with eyes. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse eyes immediately and thoroughly if product comes into contact with them. Wear the gloves supplied in the box. Earlier I was using casting creme from L'Oreal only as it was ammonia free but now I have started using this instead. What I observed is: 1. L'Oreal is an excellent brand in coloring and gives no skin reactions or allergies if instructions followed carefully. My mother and sister in law were using streax, garner and several other brands like Khadi Kali mehndi and hostel but each time they had itchy scalp and irritated red eyes. But now when they switched to L'Oreal they are satisfied with results and safety. 2. Among several versions of L'Oreal, I have observed that ammonia free color doesn't stays long on hair but the one with ammonia stays for longer number of days. That's why I switched from casting creme to excellence creme. I have been using L'Oreal for last 10years or so and never felt the need to change. Only once tried streax and observed a heavy hair fall at the time of washing color. 3. For best and safe results, color only when necessary and follow the steps as mentioned in the package like serum, shampoo and conditioning the same day of color. Some people practice oiling hair after washing hairs with plain water and shampooing these oiled hairs next day which is wrong. Bcoz plain water doesnt remove complete color so after washing with water one must do conditioning and shampoo the same day to remove even the last color residue. It not only removes color particles but also smoothed than and add shine to hairs. 4. Don't worry shampooing same day won't let your color run away. It easily stays for 20-25days until then small uproots of new hairs emerge for touch ups. I personally color once in 45-50days. Uproots depend on individual hair growth. 5. Some people say that supplier is selling fake product due to different batch numbers of shampoo, conditioner, developer etc. But even when I bought from L'Oreal outlet in mall or a local shop I got different batch number kits. This might be bcoz these are different products prepared and packed on different machines hence different batch numbers. The advantage on amazon is here the seller gives good discount which u can't get on medical store or L'Oreal outlet. I hope I cleared most doubts of customers.??

1) Gentle product. Does not damage the hair. 2) Hair stays soft and does not lose it's sheen. 3) The colour does not fade too much. 4) Lasts for about 15 days. Actually, it depends on how quick one's hair grows out... 5) Grey coverage is not as efficient when using lighter shades, though. 6) THE MISERABLY INSUFFICIENT & ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC AMOUNT OF DEVELOPER IS INTOLERABLE, TO SAY THE VERY LEAST!! IF ONE WERE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS & SQUEEZE ALL THE COLOR INTO THE APPLICATION BOTTLE. IT THEN BECOMES SO THICK, THAT IT DOES NOT FLOW & CLOGS THE APPLICATOR! APPLICATION EVEN WITH A BRUSH, THEN BECOMES A FEAT!! FOR THIS REASON ALONE, I WOULD CONSIDER ANOTHER BRAND. STILL LOOKING FOR SOMETHING MORE SUITABLE. 6) I ALSO DISLIKE THE RED TONES IN ALL THE COLORS ASSIGNED TO USERS IN INDIA, WITH A GENERALIZED VIEW OF WHAT SUITS INDIAN SKIN TONES!! I THINK THAT CHOICE SHOULD BE LEFT TO THE CUSTOMER. LOREAL OUGHT TO MAKE ALL SHADES AVAILABLE HERE. SOME OF US COULD BE EXPATS OR OF MIXED RACE.

Pros: It is friendly on sensitive skins unlike many other brands. It does not cling to skin and gets washed away same day. Con: It's actually not light brown. It's as good as dark. . But that is no issue in light of its harmless effect on skin.

Beautiful caramel brown colour Looks good under shade and in sunlight! the colour is visible. 1 box was enough for my hair. It was fresh stock and nicely packed. Best brand for box hair dye. My hair used to be black I don't have greys but if you do have greys then opt for a dark shade not this one otherwise it will come too light on grey hair. Its better to buy excellence creme because its permanent. If you buy creme gloss its semi permanent and will fade away soon.
