The plastic is very hard and brittle. The material is not conducive to drops on hard floor. If it was more softer could have absorbed the impact and not broken in a week since I bought.

Disadvantages
End tip of most of bristles gets worn out(unusable) within a month. This has happened to me for more than 4-5 pieces . Could not find any alterative so bearing this high prices product.
