Lost a lot of hair from the brushes than usual. It still continues. Size 8 holds a lot of water, but quite didn't like the quality of the hair. When mixing the paints, it's difficult because of natural reasons, plus there's an added low quality feel to it. Great for beginners though.

If you are a beginner or even intermidiate watercolor artist. A must have brush set for you. These brushes holds a lot of water, which is good for watercolors. You can do big washes easily with this. I found myself only using number 0, 2. The other brushes are too big for me as I usually paint on smaller sizes. Buy individual 0 or 2 if you get them seperately.

I had been using synthetic brushes for watercolor before this. These brushes have bought a huge change in my work. It's much much easier to use when it comes to watercolors. Holds a lot of water yet you can achieve precise thin lines because of the pointy tip. It shed hair only initially when i put it into the water for first few times and it hasn't after that. It's been over a month since I've been using them and quality is still the same. Really useful brushes for such a cheap price. I recommend to all water color beginners to buy this.
