Disadvantages

The Flavor is fair and is like that of how spirulina is supposed to taste. I had got a smaller pack previously which had a deep green color (Ideal) but the one I got recently has a deeper than Ideal green, giving it an illusionary blackish appearance. This suggests that it was not fresh and was spooled / packed long ago than usual. This may or may not have changed its nutritive value. This is the only reason for 2 stars, otherwise it would have been a 4.5

Disadvantages

Earlier when we bought the product was good. At with things like these we could never be sure whether the product is original or not. But it was edible considering the taste etc. But that was to be expected. With the latest batch we bought it was different. It was not like the item that we purchased earlier. The product and the package was the same, but inside the powder had changed. It was darker; almost black. And the consistency was different. And coloring seems to have been used. Mouth becomes green after use. You have to brush your teeth after taking it. Not satisfied.

I am a newbie to this product. When I opened the package, it smelled very bad. But as I had determined to use it due its benefits, took it with some warm water and believe me it didn't taste that bad as much as I had thought. You can absolutely go for it.
