It was meant to be a gift so I did themistake of not opening the pack ..when the person whom the gift was meant for received and opened it ..I felt miserable since the box for which I paid a whopping 935 was damaged and cracked open from the side...I don t care about the tea but this is anyone's worst nightmare ...giving defective products as gifts ...never again...do not go for unknown brands

It was a pleasant surprise to get this box of tea as a gift from a very special friend.First of all, the packaging was exceptionally good. Some of the reviewers have complained about the delicate box getting smashed during transit and now the sellers are taking care to provide multiple layers of bubble wrap which can withstand rough handling.The box in which the teabags are packed is an exquisite piece of workmanship, a gift in itself (my wife has her eye on it since it arrived!)Coming to the tea bags, this is my first experience of the Octavius brand. The flavours are fully satisfying - a delicate Darjeeling, a medium strong English Breakfast, a plain green tea... the star of the collection is undoubtedly the unique Cinnamon Anise green tea, which tickles the palate with its mildly spicy flavour with no hint of bitterness.A word of caution: while a single tea bag (from most brands) will generally suffice for a large mug or two small cups, these teas bags are meant for a single small cup. In other words, you might need two tea bags if you are using a large mug and you like your tea to be strong.On the whole, a great gift package!

Lacks a little depth in flavour and the package was a little shaky. I would say it isn’t bad but definitely had higher expectations. But if you want the box for when guests come over go for it.

I too had my reservations against this product after seeing a couple of negative reviews, that the box was broken in transit, etc. So I had dropped a message to the Seller asking him the same. He assured me that the packaging has been improved a lot and I should not worry.Finally, when the parcel arrived today, I was very happy that I went ahead with the decision of buying this tea box. It is very beautiful and elegant. The packaging was excellent too. It was all bubble wrapped and inside a carton box with Fragile marked stickers.Cant comment on the Tea quality yet, but overall the box in itself is a great gift. Thank you.
