These teas are rare as it is the shortest harvest lasting only 30 days . A favorite flush of discerning tea drinkers the teas have no sharpness bite or astringency & the liquor has a delicate yet sparkling character with a delightful flavor less floral & delicate as distinct from the opening flushes. autumn flavors tend to be more deeply fruity.A kind of tea which gives body robustness & a solid cup though much lower than Assam teas. The rounded flavors & smoothness slightly sweet under notes & mellowness make it the most readily palatable of all Darjeeling teas. The teas have no sharpness bite or astringency that typifies first and second flush teas. The liquor has a delicate yet sparkling character with a delightful flavor distinct from both first flush and second flush. Less floral and delicate than the opening flushes autumn flavors tend to be more deeply fruity. Just add 1tsp (2gms) in a cup of 200 ml hot water(95) and steep for 3-4 minutes. Steep time can be reduced or increased as per taste. Even at its boldest Darjeeling tea is still generally drunk without milk sugar or even lemon although sweetener or honey can be added as per taste.
