I purchased this from a nearby store. On the cover they claim this product is genuine. However, the strands are genuine but they've coloured these strands. A genuine saffron strand would never leave your finger with a yellow patch. Therefore, the strands are for real but coloured.

good quality. this is the real thing and good price. I compared it to several others including what some friends get in kashmir. This is as good as any. Beware there is an area in Kashmir where lesser quality saffron is grown. Not all kashmiri saffron is the same.
