I have always wondered what our local restaurants add to their fried rice, chow mein that adds an unique flavour, depth to the dishes?! Turned out it was just MSG/Ajinomoto. As a first timer I didn't know how much to add so sprinkled only 1/2 teaspoon to my fried rice, chow mein and voila now my dishes taste as good as restaurant's. The product has fine crystals which is easier to sprinkle and packaging was fine. However as another user 'Kandy' pointed out their was no labelling on the product that it's Ajinomoto/MSG, now that I have tried the product myself I can safely say that it's not cocaine, nor that I know how cocaine tastes like. ;) However a major inconvenience was the ziplock which detached while using for the second time so I had to put entire content in another jar. Also pay attention while cutting as where it told me to cut the pouch was right below the ziplock so I would have cut the entire ziplock portion. It's alright, the taste in dishes makes up for it.
