We found three packets of ginger tea to be extremely hard when we felt them. When we made the tea, it was very dark and curdeled and very bad taste. We had to throw these three bags into garbage.

I have been using Chayaos masala premix for last few years tried Girnar premix for first time but will tell you the taste is not that good, high sugar in it. Girnar cardamom flavour i bought is worst, Masala is better and ginger is slightly better than masala flavour. My overall experience is not good. Since i have ordered big pack will consume it slowly otherwise this product is not as it is rated. This is my honest opinion. Rest everyone has its own choice. Try small pack one of girnar & other of chayos and then only choose I am sure you will pick chhayos premix over girnar.

Repeat customer here. This is an excellent 'emergency' chai. Having had enough of this packet-chai over the last 5 years, I'm beginning to suspect that this is what is served at airport cafes under the guise of 'ginger tea'. I've even seen this on some flights, listed on the menu as 'Girnar ginger tea'. I carry a packet or two of this on flights and ask for hot water - so much better than the tea sachet+milk powder+hot water combo served otherwise! My favourite flavour is the lemongrass one, although the ginger variant is also a staple in my stash.
