Wakame a type of marine algae and a sea vegetable. It has a subtly sweet but distinctive and strong flavor and texture. It offers traces of vitamin A vitamin C vitamin E vitamin K and the rest of the B vitamin family. Hydrate it in water for 10 minutes and it is ready to use. It expands quite bit so you might not have to use a lot. Wakame is a versatile edible seaweed with a subtly sweet flavor and is most often served in soups and salads can be tossed right out of the bag into miso soup or soaked lightly drained squeezed and added to fresh salads.
