There was a huge layer of oil on top and rock hard solid later below. We couldn't even dig it out with a spoon, because it was so hard. Had to eventually toss it in the bin after many attempts to figure out if we could salvage it, because it was totally stale and rancid tasting.

The packaging is the first thing that draws the attention to this product. It's a little thin in consistency but it tastes so good. I use it for making Nutella fat bombs. It's a little pricey but every hazelnut butter is.
