It adds a lot of taste to Chinese dishes. The flavour is milder than Dark soya sauce so it tastes better.

It was noticed that this product had a manufacturing date as 10/18 and the expiry said 24 months from manufacturing.Even after repeatedly saying this to the executive she did not take action.very clever way of selling a product close to expiry.shameful.

Man this is bang on bucks, for this price you get lesser quantity with other brands (literally half). It goes great with light soups and dimsums. Will surely buy it once I finish my bottle.

Bang on. Worth my money.

Advantages
I am a light soy sauce addict. And every single time I've spent a bit on a good sauce bottle, I've been more than rewarded . This one's the exception. Woh Hup is a well-known brand. I used to buy their products regularly during my two-year stay in Singapore. But why would they ever make such an awful soy sauce? It is heavily salty, so salty as to mask all its other flavours. If it does have other flavours, that is - I'm not sure. It certainly none of the malty umami-nesss one associates with light soy sauce.

Very disappointed
I can learn
Disadvantages
The flavor profile of this sauce is more of a fish sauce like flavor, rather than the rich brewed soy flavor that is typical of say a Kikkoman or Lee Kum Kee brand of light soy sauce. The price is cheaper than the other brands, so you get what you pay for.
Comment
More of a fishy smell rather than the typical soy-based umami flavor
