Urban platter is too expensive, I mean it's not worth buying it. I've had kimchi actually better kimchi that too for far too cheaper prices. Spend your 500 bucks somewhere else, you're missing out on nothing, better yet make it at home

This is an acquired taste, not everyone is going to like it. But I did like it. Luckily there were no spills from the jar , which was something I was concerned about after taking a look at a few reviews but since then they've changed there packaging it seems.Overall , I liked it. Will I buy it again? Maybe not. Only because it was too sour for my preference and not tangy but I'm sure it tastes exactly like authentic Korean kimchi. I'll say it once again , not everyone is going to appreciate the taste but that's not the fault of the person who formulated the product.

Worst experience with Urban Platter. It arrived in a decent box. When I opened it up, the bubble wrap was all wet with the leaked product and darn smelly. Product was spoiled and there were white fungus all over. Bad odor all over my house and my family even wondered if I ordered pig waste. Am a pregnant woman and I was craving for kimchi ever since I known from YouTube videos. That's why I ordered it but never thought it would be such a mess. As they don't have return policy, I had to claim it for refund which I received as they were also convinced. I will add pictures of it but I wish there was an option to add that bad odor too.I would rate it 0. But there is no such scoring available here :(

Anyone who does not think this is good kimchi clearly does not understand what kimchi is. The stuff in Indian chinese restaurants is not kimchi! This stuff is fermented goodness.There was some leakage, hence 4 stars.

I absolutely love this. I feel it's a bit on the expensive side but I love it so much that I eat it daily and don't mind paying paying little extra extra it. I love the not so spicy taste with the tangy flavour as well as the crunchy texture of the cabbage. It came to me well packaged and there was no leakage or anything.

Everything was fine, but I was not expecting the brand to function the same way as they did 2 years back (I read a bad review from 2019, still decided to order for the love of kimchi) the package leaked. All the kimchi juice (fermented kimchi water) was out of the package. Whatever was left was in the bottom. Regardless, I was hopeful. Then recently, I am seeing mold and rust on the cap of the package. Didn’t expect this. Overall, I had no problem with the taste and smell, I know kimchi tastes sour and has pungent odor, but the fact that the container is malfunctioning is disheartening. Kindly see to the quality of shipping and containers please.
