First of all by looking at the reviews about the packaging, I was a bit hesitant to order. But since I love kimchi, I anyway ordered it. I guess I got lucky as I received the package without any spills. And as soon as I opened the container, a plethora of fragrances filled my kitchen. I loved the Kimchi. It tastes amazing and very refreshing. Ordered my second bottle today. Thanks Urban platter for the amazing kimchi.

I felt like the packaging was amazing, full marks for that. No leakage or spill at all. The glass bottle reached me in perfect condition. Kimchi tasted fresh and cruncy. It is authentic in taste but for those who are not used to the real kimchi taste might not prefer it. I truly loved it. However, I hope it was a tad bit more affordable so that I'd be able to order it more often! I eat this with my sushi or ramen that I cook. Sometimes just randomly as an anti oxidant.

Was a but worried because of some of the reviews where people received leaking jars and old ones with spoilt kimchi. But at the same time there were some great reviews as well so I thought to take the chance ???? Thankfully it arrived in good condition and I absolutely loved the taste. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. Spending 475/- plus shipping for a jar this size feels like a lot. Finished the kimchi within a week. I usually make my own kimchi at home but during summer it's almost impossible to get Chinese cabbage and radish (fresh) plus I ran out of authentic Korean chilli powder so I had no other option but to buy ready-made kimchi.Honestly, I think if you receive a new batch in good condition, this kimchi is really tasty. I just wish it was cheaper. I also found some authentic kimchi at seoulstore.in but sadly they don't deliver to New Delhi. Will keep looking for the perfect kimchi available at a good price for the next few months. And then in winter I'll make a large batch of kimchi to last me till next summer ????

You should know that from one side fermented means rotten. So it taste sour and it has pungent smell. So, who knows the real kimchi only they should try it . It is just same as original korean. But do not buy if you don't know kimchi is fermented.

The bottle although wrapped in thick foam was leaking when opened. The bottle only had half the brine. Also the inner foil was open when I opened the bottle - which was disappointing to say the least.Taste is ok- slightly more sour than expected. But will not be reordering to avoid the packaging disaster.

After watching a lot of Korean dramas, wanted to get my hands on kimchi. Was a lil scared abt how it’s going to be delivered and the authenticity of it. Even though idk how the ‘original’ kimchi tastes, I was happy with what I got. The sourness of it, the spicy ness of it, it was perfect to me. I loved it. Thank you urban platter. One thing for sure, u wudnt have tasted anything like this in our Indian cuisine.
