This is decent gulkand, preserved with sugar. In general, I would recommend buying honey preserved gulkand as opposed to sugar, since honey imparts a nice dense consistency that sits well when paired with paan. But urban platter gulkand isn't too bad either. I made very nice meetha paan with it, and I am going to use it to make paan flavoured kulfi.

It is a repackaged poor quality product in an attractive container. Does not taste like gulkhand, is almost liquidish and tastes like sugary syrup.
