Advantages

Coming from Delhi, we love soya chaap dishes but its not available in Bangalore in Grocery stores(online/offline) or dairies. Its good in taste, long shelf life if dont open the can. Its soft and tasty, you can cook whatever recipe you want.Only con is its pricing, if we compare it with frozen or ready to consume products available in local markets (Delhi-NCR), its very costly.For those who don't get it in their cities, its best to go for it through Silkrute and enjoy the same taste.

Advantages

The packaging was fine, product was in good condition. People with lactose intolerance or allergies can eat it as substitute for paneer. Taste is good, can be made in different ways whether you boil it or fry it. Light on stomach too. However, it doesn't taste like the soya chaap that I have eaten at various vendors in Delhi, which was a disappointment. If you are looking for an alternative to chicken, then you will not like it much. May be storage in solution has that effect.

Brought it on 22nd April 2021, manufacturing date was march 31st...the product was super fresh...open the tin, wash under running water... Cut and cook as per any recipe...I used ghee in recipe instead of butter... Cooked in micro+ grill mode(available in IFB micro).. Go for it... My family went crazy.... A lot better than street side chaap.

I was looking for options and I found this and it's great.It comes with a peel off lid which is great and you are prep it as per instructions provided or in my case I made a nice butter chicken recipe only with soya chaapIt does give off a meaty flavor which is greaaat for newly turned vegans or vegetarians
