This is not original vanilla bean paste. It smells weird and tastes nothing like vanilla. And since it doesn't have a return policy, it's just simply waste of money. Though it was expensive, I purchased it on Amazon without any discount, but I'm regretting it now.

The glass container in which they sell the 20 gms paste is huge compared to the serving size. It’s like when you go to those posh 5 star Michelin hotels where plate size is just as you’d find in a cafe but the serving size is small. That being said, the seller can pass on the lower cost if they reduce the container size. But I guess it’s a conscious decision they made!Also the packaging was abysmal and some of the paste spilled onto the bubble wrap that it came wrapped up in. Good product, bad marketing, poor packaging.

Urban Platter is ripping off customer now by hiding big changes in small prints. I have been using this product of almost a year now . I reordeeed the old one that says :50gm. But to my surprize the bottle was half empty. Same bottle, same size, same price, everything same as before just a tiny print on the bottle that has changed from 50gm to 30gm. Very difficult to differentiate if you are a regular customer. Very disappointing Urban Platter ... This is how you try to rip off regular customers and think you can make money. Sad and pethatic approach

There are actually vanilla seeds in it, the paste is grainy with them. The bottle is the tiniest bottle I have ever seen. But I guess it's reasonable. Vanilla beans are very pricey. The smell is warm, roiling vanilla you get from pods not the fresh one dimensional kind that's synthesized from vanillin. Very happy with it.
