These did not have the crunch of the pistachios with shells, but I used them in a nut bar and used them after grinding them, so they were not bad.

I have now ordered these pistachios for the third time. The first time I got nice, good quality pistachios. My second order was a disappointment. The pistachios seemed smaller and there were quite a few broken pieces. The third order has been amazing: the pistachios are very fresh, nicely big in size, and great to crunch. Again, their size is remarkably big. Clearly, there are some quality control issues. But I will certainly be ordering again, even though the price is on the higher side. All said and done, these are still better than what one routinely finds in ordinary shops. Here's another yardstick: Modern Bazaar superstores (in Delhi NCR) are totally awesome but they don't carry better pistachios than these. The pistachios come in good quality resealable bags, so that's an added convenience. My most recent order was stamped July-packed with instructions to finish within six months: No problem there!
