The collection of dates is really good. This way I could learn about some varieties I was not aware of, like Rabbi and Khenaizi. The Rabbi dates remind me of jamun honey, and the khenaizi variety of caramel toffees. Mejdoul dates are nice and big and have their own unique flavour. The way of presenting the dates is also very nice. The only point which needs to be improved is the locking mechanism of the box. After opening and closing just a couple of times, it becomes difficult to lock.

As indicated, the box does carry a sample of multiple date types from different parts of the Middle East. Not all types taste as good. Quantity is less. Was left unsatisfied. Definitely not VFM.

Was removing the bugs, but the maggots were so many, inside the fruit and even under the outer skin, that I could not be certain they were all removed... Not acceptable for vegetarians, sattvic food, and at a premium price as well..

The dates in different compartments toppled over one another due to bad packing, also absence of labelling over each compartment makes it difficult to identify each variety . I’m not even sure if I got all varieties mentioned on the description since they didn’t match the image.
