I lived in Middle East & eaten quality freshly dry harvested dates. The dates I received are probably well past expiration date, though packaged in Apr 2021. Skin is dry & brittle, broke open in many, and some are hard and eaten by an insect (see photo). Some had impurities. Size is good, taste is also OK, but dry skin and insect eaten ones are a big spoiler.UPDATE 18/5/21 Revising to 4 stars. Seller genuinely reached out to me several times and without any qualms sent me replacement (see last photo) of very good specimens. They are quite good (large, chewy, nice taste). Seller said they would continue this with the orders (I guess my first order was somehow sent by mistake). Please do give this a try!

The quality seems to be good but today when I open one date to remove seed, a worm came out running from the date. The date of packing is 6/23 and best before June 24. Seeing the worm, now I have to think twice if it worth purchasing this item at such big price.
