We have used many lots of this brand of jaggery. Each lot is different colour, from deep brown to golden brown, taste varies, one lot had packing seal ruptured. Current lot was lumpy, had to use force to dig out lumps. Correspondence with Co was unanswered. Lately, even adding this jaggery to already prepared tea, caused milk in tea to curdle

We now use jaggery (gud) instead of sugar most of the time. Since jaggery comes in lumps it was very difficult to use it without first grinding it to powder. With this product now, we just use it straight from the container. Though the texture is not as good as refined sugar, it is good enough to sprinkle it on food or drinks.
