I have purchased this oil on Amazon SVD December 2017 through Seller Urban Platter. And the date of manufacture is August 2017 with 36 months of shelf life, so the received olive oil is relatively fresh. Delivery was super fast by this seller. Figaro is the brand name of a Spanish olive oil giants Deoleo S.A, world’s largest bottlers of olive oil. This oil is an end product of mixing refined olive oil with extra virgin olive oil. However the exact ratio is not mentioned. I use this oil for sautéing some vegetables before tossing in pasta. I’m satisfied with it’s pleasant aroma and taste. This can also be used for skin and hair. There are myriads of other olive oils in the market but I prefer this mainly because of it’s tin packing. It is worth mentioning here that olive oil is very very delicate amongst all the edible oils. The tin packing makes sure that olive oil is not exposed to light at all which has an intense effect on it’s quality. And unlike those leaching plastic bottles this tin doesn’t react with the oil hence preserving its life force. I hope this helps you to make a better choice.

It wasn’t for Kitchen usage but for my 7-months nephew body massage. So, can’t say anything about the flavor and so have given an average rating on that basis. Apart from that, the packaging was great and it’s definitely worth money. Ordered this at a great price.

I have ordered two 1 ltr and one 0.5 ltr tins (total 2.5 Lts) for Gifting purpose, all three tins were put in a cardboard box and sent to me with out any cushion between the three tins. Due to gap between the tins, during the transit they collided with each other and were full of dents and became useless for gifting,, I had to keep them for home use. I have posted the pic of one of the tins here

Product is good but i am sad about the way it was packaged. Came in only polythene cover and hence tin got damaged (see the pics attwched). The seller must ensure a better packaging for fragile items. Otherwise, quality of product is as expected. It is fresh and good.
