Halal certification helps brands to sell their products to other countries like UAE and all. This is a vegetarian product. I have seen so many wrongly reviews by misinformed individuals regarding issues with halal certification. If Indian products are halal certified those products are permissible to be sold in Islamic countries, bringing more revenue to India! I was not at all aware of this Kodo Millets, till I bought it from Amazon.When we cooked and had, it was just like Rice. There's no difference at all.But being a Millet, it is far superior in Nutrition. I liked so much to that I am planning to shift from Rice to Kodo Millets as staple food.
