Fresh, natural & wholesome - Milk that speaks for itself. Still, there's a story to be told, and a pretty interesting one! How we came to be? During our childhood, Maa used to give us a glassful of milk right out of a clay pot as soon as we got back from school. This clay pot was kept in a Barosi. Barosi is a small pit dug on the ground lined with wooden pieces and cow dung cakes for heating the clay pot on a very low flame. After sitting for a couple of hours in the simmering flame of Barosi, the milk gets an amazingly earthy aroma. Yes, we can still smell it! And this memory is what gave birth to our brand - Barosi.

Rich Desi flavour ghee I've ever had

Okay I'll be honest, looking at the good reviews and cheaper price as compared to other Bilona method ghee I decided to buy this product. But I have to admit, the aroma you get from home made desi ghee is missing in Barosi Ghee. Also the consistency is rather too smooth (which is unlike a pure ghee that has small lumps in it). It also remains solid even in 35-40 degree temperature. Although I did Iodine test on this ghee, and it passed it with flying colors which indicates that it does not have starch related adulteration in it. But something is clearly not right about this one, and I can't put my fingers on it. So yeah I am not sure.

Somehow I felt this product was adulterated ....the consistency was very flowy and I felt it had mixed oil in it...Though it smelled very good. Due to the flowy consistency it got over very soon. It seemed hardly 500 ml

Just loved this ghee. It doesn’t have that overpowering smell or flavor. It has a beautiful yellow hue and smell is also very pleasant just like the pure and homemade ghee. I use it in all my cooking. Packaging is good too, It comes in a glass jar which is also a plus for me.

Im a bit confused about the product, it looks like no other ghee i have used, more like dalda than anything else, but maybe this is what pure ghee looks like, the other ghee brands have it kind of separated peices, this is more like a homogeneous paste, the flavour is and smell are mild, other ghees have strong flavours and smell. So idk what to make out of this ghee, feels like Im using dalda, need a clarification from the manufacturer on this.
