I just noticed that it has “Halal” marking. Absolutely disgusting. For an Organic Vegitarian product to have halal markings yuck. Either Organic Tattva removes halal certificate and makes it non-halal or I am NOT buying again. They can cater to 14-15% of Indians or to 85% who deplores concept of halal usually for killing animals. I am just wondering if some halal animal fat is added to this dal to make it “Halal”…? I am sure my review may NOT be even published but I will do my best to publish this inhumane practice of halal (for killing animals) is banned and making vegetarian foods “halal” should also end…
