The first thing that pleasantly surprised me about Tissow Assam Tea was its packaging. I ordered a 1 kg pack, and it was thoughtfully packed in 4 smaller vaccum sealed packs of 250 gms each. So I had to open just one pack, and the rest of the tea would remain fresh until I need to open. Two zip lock bags are also included in the pack, so the opened content can be immediately transferred. I am an avid, religious tea drinker, who is very particular about the flavour, aroma and colour of the tea. Having been stuck to one tea brand for a long time, Tissow Assam Tea brought a fresh change in my morning sip. The tea tasted wonderful amd refreshing both the times, when taken with ginger and milk as well as with honey and lemon. It truly deserves a rating of 5/5. Gives a full value for money, taste and satisfaction.

This is a tea with good caffeine content, unlike your average tea which has only negligible amounts of it. Now, this does not mean that it loses it's essence or character because of it. On the contrary, the caffeine content really serves as a bonus on top of the well rounded taste and flavour.Both the upper Assam and North bank varieties that you get in this pack are robust and flavourful, although there is a subtle difference in taste note. The North bank tea is milder in taste, and creates a beverage that is easy on the taste buds yet gives you the flavour of experiencing a tea that is truly complete. The upper Assam variety is pretty intense and strong in flavour, and makes a tea that will awake your senses within four sips. Because of it's strength, it is advisable to use it 1 1/2 spoons less than the usual quantity, and to avoid boiling it. The taste will become too strong if it is brewed on higher temperatures. Although, if you swear by your daily dose of "kadak chai", then you can go ahead and make a heavy concoction by extra brewing with the upper Assam variety.I for one like both of them for their distinctive tastes and refreshing impacts on my senses, especially when they are in the process of rebooting after a long night's sleep. Because both are individual varieties, one gets a nice choice to prepare two different flavours of the tea.The teas are vacuum packed to preserve their freshness, a feature that has become a rarity even among the premium tea brands. You get two resealable bags inside the package to transfer the tea after opening, which is another novel attribute to the TISOW brand.Finally, considering the superior quality of the teas, the thoughtfully protective packaging and providing the customer storage options, I think it is priced very fairly. If you like a strong tea that does not taste bitter and has a wide brewing margin then you should definitely try this. Only remember that it is intense, so you wouldn't want to use the same quantity that you have been using with the normal CTC tea.This is a tea that will not disappoint you, this much is sure. It may surprise you with the taste and uplift your senses quicker than you would expect.

Tisow single Estate 1kg box includes 250gms each 2 vaccum packet of upper Assam which gives right blend of tea to feel energized and focused all day long and 250gms each 2 vaccum packet of North bank makes a perfect kadak chai , the longer you brew it the stronger it gets.. I enjoy the flavour and aroma of both tea blends ..it warms both my body and my soul.. I am a dedicated tea drinker and my morning starts with a cup of tea.. Thank you Tisow for creating such a wonderful product with a smooth finish.. i would rate 4.5 out of 5

Truly as described in details. Real authentic,strong,tasty real taste of Darjeeling tea.I m a tea lover and use to add other masalas in my tea to make it tasty but u dont need any other masalas to add to this tea. Thats why I call it no nonsence tea. Realy strong and flavourful tea. Just a small tea spoon of this tea will make it gud cup of tasteful tea. Dont add more than a teaspoon per cup, it will be too strong. A real kadak chai, i wud say.
