It is very finely grounded so only buy if you have espresso machine or paper filter... I have a French press but i still gave it a shot... As it is very finely grounded if you use a French press coffee won't be smooth some of the coffee powder will remain with wasn't very pleasant... About the smell.. personal i don't like it... It really ruined the coffee for me... The taste was mediocre... Didn't had any hints of flavour underneath.....wasn't on very acetic side which is a good thing for me personally because I don't like my coffee to be sour and the bitterness was quite pleasing it was a good kind of bitterness just the way I like.... So my final call is you can give it a shot but don't expect much it is a mediocre coffee and you will be better off buying another brand I would suggest Blue tokai which is my favourite so far...

Good coffee. Couldn't get much Crema for Latte Art may be that's because the Morphy Richards Home Espresso Machine is not creating enough pressure. Far better than a drip coffee. We are getting the package after a few months of roasting/grounding. Reducing this time can improve the overall experience.

I was sent packets which were more than 10 months old from the date of packing.Flavour was stale and did not give any aroma. Please send coffee grounds which are not packed earlier than two months. I had submitted earlier review which was rejected because it was related to "shipping or packaging experience". How come the coffee grounds being not fresh and working expectedly to produce aroma and flavour a "shipping or packaging experience"?

I was very alarmed when the package came hard and packed so tightly. And it was certainly tricky getting it open. (Note to future buyers: Use scissors. Don't try to open it by hand or a lot of the powder will burst out. When I say it's tightly and compactly sealed, I'm not joking.) But I found out this kind of packaging is normal for this brand, so I suppose that's fine. As for the taste, it is very good. Feels original in taste too. Good buy.

If you talk about the notes: The top notes are of coffee, while heart notes are of well.. coffee and the base note reminds if you of... some more coffee. No kidding, if you want no frills, punchy, poignant espresso then this is the one.
