The Indian instant noodle market is pretty much monopolised by a Swiss giant, so it's pretty natural for brands to want a slice of the pie. Saffola has gone out and out bold with the launch of Oodles; and they haven't disappointed! At ?20 a pop, it is substantially more expensive than it's direct competition, but it makes up for it by offering a larger masala packet, for the "soupy" flavour. It is truly spicy and not just for namesake, a treat for the taste buds. Other than that, I really liked the fact that each serving is individually packed which is never the case with other brands. A good break from the mainstream! Can't wait for more flavours to hit the market!

I have used 2 packets in the above picture and is as filling as a 2 packet Maggi. The quantity felt a little less before it was cooked but then the rings grew almost double in size. The taste is almost like that of Maggi but not quite. I added the vegetables separately. The packet had a few, almost microscopically small bits of carrot but I couldn't see/taste anything else. The veggies in the Maggi itself would be larger. The major disappointment though is that the rings break apart when cooked over a certain level. Overall, pretty good product.

The product is good but MRP mentioned at Amazon seems to be wrong as the box contains 14 packets and mrp of each pkt is Rsv20/- so it becomes Rs 280/- on buying complete box it will be further less, whereas on Amazon it says Rsv340/-. The bowl and spoon in the box is also not worth Rs 60/-(340-280). So there is hardly any discount..

This is a very healthy option to satisfy you craving when your want to enjoy some healthy noodles. This has amazing tangy masala flavour. It comes in hand packs. This is also very affordable. But i feel that the portion size is less compared to other brands. And it also gets very soggy at times.

I have been so addicted to Maggi all my life. But knew it deep down that all that "Maida" is no good. A friend suggested trying Saffola oats and now I am hooked. Best part is the Oats and No Maida. Plus.. the Masala packet is so much more in quantity than any other Maggi or Top Ramen packets . The taste is perfect. Doesn't feel like Oats.. very very tasty.
