I came late to the liquid lipstick party. I'd heard that liquid mattes could be incredibly drying and flaky. Since I have dry lips at the moment, I was nervous. So I read and watched a bunch of reviews, and finally decided to give this a try. I wore it for the first time to a movie with a couple of girlfriends (a bit more dressy than I usually get for a movie, but I wanted opinions). I got asked what lipstick it was as soon as I arrived, and this wasn't even a particularly makeup-crazy group. Everyone was disappointed I hadn't brought the tube along! The lipstick dries to a lovely smooth even finish, and the colour is absolutely gorgeous (Tan Fan). It would go with a huge variety of skin tones, from very pale to very dark and all the shades of brown in between. I'm very impressed that it lasted through a cold coffee and a messy sugar doughnut, and stayed looking pretty good for around 6-7 hours (I didn't bother to reapply). It would have been flawless in a more conscientious makeup wearer lol. I'm definitely going to be buying more from Sugar.

I have been using this product almost a year. Previously, my lips were dry so I used to apply a Vaseline to cover the fine lines and then top up with the lipstick. It used to spread all over my teeth at times. So, would recommend to moisturise your lips a day before and then apply apply the sugar lipstick when stepping out. Also, if you eat oily stuff, your lipstick will fade off, otherwise it stays for longer hours. Also, use coconut oil to remove your lipstick.

I ordered the Sugar smudge me not liquid lipstick in the shade - Tan Fan (03)This shade has a pink undertone to it.As soon as you apply it, it looks more like a pink shade and pops out. But once it dries and settles down it gets deeper.Third pic- is after 4 hrs of applying it and it stayed well (I only had some water and coffee in between)When you had a heavy meal, it definitely fades out from inside.This liquid lipstick just as any other ones, dries out the lips SO MUCH. Moisturising and prepping your lips is compulsory.Overall its a good liquid lipstick and I liked the shade TanFan so much.
